By: Peter Alves The backstory of Lucille: That was answered in this episode with Jadis and Negan. Jadis captured Negan back last episode and brought him back to the Dump. He was tied up on a dolly. Jadis was clearly sad about the Saviors killing all of her people. She escaped dying by playing dead to not get caught. She threatened to kill him and to burn Lucille but he pleaded not to. We finally know the backstory of Lucille. Lucille was the name of Negan's wife. It symbolizes her, and that is the last thing he has of her. While this is happening, Negan is holding a flare. The flare is for the helicopter that was seen back in season 7. Negan is all confused that Jadis has a helicopter and I am sure that we will see it again, and answer the question of who really is Jadis. Negan ultimately gets let go by Jadis but offers her to go back with her but declines. While on the way back he sees a mysterious person and picks them up. He goes back to the Sanctuary secretly to see what is going on with Simon/Dwight without his leadership, and what they are doing differently. Carol and Morgan believes that he is dead but Ezekiel still has hope. Carol and Morgan goes out and tries to find him. While trying to find him they find Henry's stick, and Henry's armor. While they are searching Morgan hallucinates again, but this time sees Henry. Morgan is feeling guilty that Henry's death is his fault. Morgan has to leave back to the Hilltop while Carol still looks for Henry. While Morgan goes back, he runs into Rick but they get captured by Saviors. Carol finds Henry in a river/swamp, and they return to the Hilltop with the relief of Ezekiel, Morgan, and Jerry. They get captured by the Saviors that escaped from the Hilltop. Rick and Morgan tells them to let them go because there is a herd coming towards them but they don't listen. Rick gives them his word that he won't kill any of them if they let him go. Morgan says I don't die (like he did in episode 3). The herd starts to come in, Morgan and Rick becomes free and starts to kill all the Saviors and zombies. Morgan ultimately kills Jared, the one that killed Benjamin. At the end, Morgan tells Rick, I'm not right. Rick asks Morgan why he saved him back in season 1 episode 1, and said the only reason why Morgan did was because of Dwayne. When Morgan comes back to the Hilltop, he tells Henry he killed the person that killed his brother. The episode ends with Rick, finally, reading Carl's letter to him. I liked this episode a lot. The gore is back in action with Morgan killing Jared. I also liked the backstory of Lucille and finding out more mysterious stuff about Jadis. I give it an 8/10. Questions to consider: Who did Negan pick up? What did Rick's letter say? What will the Saviors reactions be when the see Negan? Who really is Jadis? Is the helicopter from the Commonwealth? How will Morgan leave? Will Morgan turn on Rick, and is this why he gets "excommunicated?" Will Daryl kill Dwight, since Tara does not want to because she knows that Dwight did not kill her with the arrow. Will Daryl/Rosita kill Eugene? Find out next week...
