By: Peter Alves The Hilltop Attack: Maggie and the rest of the Survivors has to get ready for the Saviors attack. Simon, Dwight and the rest of the gang invades Hilltop, using Negan's plan of coating their weapons with zombie guts. While the two sides are fighting, Morgan has hallucinations of Gavin's death. He feels guilty that it should have been Morgan that killed Gavin, instead of Henry. I believe that this will be the reason why Morgan leaves after season 8, to join "Fear", like Carol left in season 6/7. Dwight shoots Tara with an arrow and the Saviors stabbed a bunch of Survivors, with Tobin being the most important. The Saviors escape and go back to the Sanctuary. Siddiq helps them get better, and believes he has, but the outbreak is going to just begin inside the walls. Zombie Outbreak: Before the outbreak, there is two important dialogue moments, one being with Tara and Daryl, and the other being with Carol and Tobin. Tara tells Daryl that she does not want to kill Dwight now because she believed that he changed, like she did with the Governor. Daryl still wants to kill Dwight after the war because he believes that he tried to kill Tara from the crossbow and did not see Dwight saving her life, by not letting Simon kill her with the "tainted" knife. Tobin and Carol talks about their past love in season 6, and why Carol left. She tells him that their love was never real but she still cares what happens to Tobin. The outbreak started because of Negan's plan. Tobin died in his sleep but turned into a zombie because of the zombie guts. He started to kill everyone inside of the trailer and went into the Hilltop's house and started to kill some of the injured/sick people, while other sick people turned into zombies. Zombie Tobin is killed by Carol. At the end of the outbreak, the group figured out Negan's plan from Tobin's death and now is worried that Tara is going to die because she got shot with a "tainted" weapon. Image:http://bloody-disgusting.com/tv/3490625/freshly-killed-off-walking-dead-actor-explains-pathology-zombie-virus/ Stupid Kid: Henry is turning into Carl 2.0 from season 2, stupid. He is still seeking vengeance of his brothers death, Benjamin, and trying to figure out who really killed him. He sneaks out of the house with an assault rifle to the Saviors that are held captive. He unlocks the gate and starts questioning all of them. He quickly gets knocked out by some Saviors and Jared takes the gun. Some Saviors escape, including Gregory, back to the Sanctuary, while other Saviors stay put and now is trying to help Maggie win the war. I thought this was a mostly filler episode and I did not enjoy it as much as I thought I would. This was just an episode to help enhance Morgan, Henry, Saviors, Carol, Maggie, Tara, Dwight, and Daryl's character development. The episode had important moments however, the group finding out about Negan's plan, and Saviors escaping, Dwight's alliance to the Survivors is still there, and Tobin's death. I'M GOING TO MISS TOBIN, he was my favorite original Alexandra minor character :(. I give this episode a 6.5/10. Is Tara really going to die? How is Dwight going to rejoin the Survivors? How will the Saviors that escaped/stayed impact the plot? How will Morgan leave the show? MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION: Who is going to die in the finale (I still have no idea, I know its going to be Simon but I don't know about the main Survivor death. Maybe Maggie because of her on going contract dispute?) Find out next week...

By: Peter Alves The Chase With Rick and Negan The Saviors went along with the walker guts on weapons plan and they all went their way to Hilltop. Negan was in his own car, being chased by Rick but not knowing it. Rick chased Negan into an abandoned building with Rick shooting (badly I might add) and almost catching Negan but he escaped without Lucille (for now). Negan finds out that Simon killed all of the Garbage people. Rick finds Lucille before Negan does so he lights her on fire. He then smashes a barrier to walkers, trying to kill Negan. Rick swings at Negan with Lucille but misses and they start to fight. Negan smashes a window and gets to escape and Rick runs after him. Negan gets away with Lucille but he wakes up to Jadis, already captured him at gun point, driving. Maggie and a New Deal? At the Hilltop Maggie, Enid, Machonne, and Rosita find a note, left by a stranger and the group is hesitant to go. Time passes but Machonne convinces Maggie to go and they arrive with an older women, and two younger women at the spot. They ask the Survivors for a deal but the Survivors don't take it yet. Maggie and the rest of the gang take their weapons and bring them back to the Hilltop and decide what to do with them. Enid says to kill them and take their stuff but Machonne disagrees. She says Carl would not want that, he would want to save people, and that got through to Maggie. She lets the two women, and the new character, Georgie go. Maggie decides to take a deal of food and knowledge of how to build things like windmills or aqueducts for records and something at a later date. During the whole episode Simon and Dwight talk about what their opinion of what to do with Rick's group. Simon suggests just to kill all of them, while Dwight is mute. They are tasked of finding Negan but they find his car instead. They find blood all over the car and on the ground near the car. They use Dwight's cigarette that Sherry gave him to light the car on fire. After they did that they went back to the rest of the Saviors. Simon is now seen rallying up the Saviors as their active "leader" while Negan is gone. He rallies up the Saviors by calling everyone Negan, they are still Negan, and to kill everyone in their path. Review This episode was hyped up and it did not disappoint. I loved Negan and Rick's fight. Rick lighting Lucille on fire and Negan getting mad "to not to touch her". Steven Ogg is doing an amazing job as Simon but it sucks that he is going to die because the viewer needs a feeling of success because Negan is most likely going to survive. I did not like Enid character because she just wants to kill everyone, but I get what they are doing with her character, kinda just like Tara. I also did not like Rick having such bad aim on Negan, but clearly Negan has plot armor. I give this episode an 8.5/10. Questions to consider for next episode... What will Rick do next? Where is Georgie from? What is she going to do? Is Simon the acting leader with Negan gone? What will Negan do to Simon, now that he knows that Simon killed the Garbage people? How is Dwight going to continue to play both sides? How did Jadis get to Negan? Where are Jadis and Negan going? Find out next week... By: Peter Alves The Swamp: Daryl, Rosita, Tara, Dwight, Siddiq, and the rest of the Alexandria's going to meet up at the Hilltop with everyone else but needs to figure out a way to not get caught by the Saviors. Dwight suggests to go to the swamp because it is too dangerous for Negan and the others but it will not be seen. Everyone is on board with the idea because they have to do it but Tara is skeptical of the idea. I liked Tara when we first got introduced to her in season 4, but I really hate Tara right now... She throws walkers onto Dwight. When they fight other walkers she tries to shoot Dwight but he gets away. To prove himself that he is on Rick's side, he even gives himself back to the Saviors to see what Negan is doing and to see if Laura ratted him out, and to help sway the Saviors into not finding the Survivors. I get Tara is really angry about him killing Denise but Dwight is a valuable resource and should not be thinking with just her heart. She also changed sides from the Governor to the Survivors, so why can't she see the light of what Dwight is doing too, like she did. Tara got in a heated argument with Daryl on letting Dwight go and about her almost killing him. Dwight knows that he is going to get killed either way, by Negan for going against him, or at the end by Tara from killing Denise or by Daryl by double crossing him so he is doing everything he can to not get killed and to hopefully see Sherry again, because this is why he is changed sides in the first place. Image: https://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/tv/news/the-walking-dead-season-8-episode-11-fans-writers-theory-tara-dwight-negan-governor-a8251531.html God Will Show the Way: Father Gabriel and Dr. Carson went on their journey back to the Hilltop where Carson can help Maggie and Gabriel can get better. They escaped the Sanctuary with Eugene's help, dropping the keys to a vehicle. This vehicle breaks down so they have to figure out where to find another vehicle. During this time Gabriel keeps getting sicker from the walker guts technique in episode 5 and is losing his eyesight. This doesn't let Gabriel get sad of possibly going blind or dying because throughout the whole episode he believes that God is showing us the way and helping. He proves this theory on finding a house with meds in it to calm his fever. He also destroys a piggy bank that has a map and keys to another car. This is a trap though... They get to it but Carson gets stuck in a bear trap on the foot but Gabriel finds a gun and shoots the walkers to save Carson, even with going blind. Their luck runs out however, with the Saviors finding them and capturing them back to the Sanctuary. In a last effort, Carson kills himself to hopefully save Gabriel down the road, but Gabriel is now shown sad and not knowing what to do next. The Hilltop: The prisoners are still held captive, Gregory still with them, with Morgan, Carol, and Henry keeping watch. The Hilltop are losing supplies fast with all of the people so they have to cut the rations of the prisoners. One of them suggested to get some exercise and being let down with watch if their good, but Maggie did not like it but by the end of the episode she let him and Gregory out. Daryl and gang arrived and told everyone about the Carl news and everyone was hit hard by it, Enid the most. Henry asked Morgan and Carol who killed his brother, Benjamin, and said it was Gavin to calm him down because he already killed him, but we all know it was Jared. The Bullet Maker: Eugene gets his own outpost at the location where him and Abraham found a spot to make bullets. He now is creating bullets for the enemy. One of Negan's wives tries to help but Eugene refuses and tells her to do other stuff like making him a sandwich, or wiping his brow. Negan returns with Gabriel and tells that Carson died. Eugene is worried that Gabriel told Negan that it was him that let them escape, but said it was Carson so he is relived. Gabriel is now sorting bullets and helping Eugene while being blind. Image: https://www.cinemablend.com/television/2305442/the-walking-deads-new-trailer-hints-at-a-key-comic-storyline-but-with-a-twist Negan's Master Plan: At the end of the episode Negan tells the Saviors of his plan to destroy the Survivors, with Dwight present at this meeting. He tells them to coat their knives, arrows, or even Lucille in walker guts to get the Survivors sick, or to turn. This plan could actually work because of Gabriel getting sick. Image: http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2018/03/11/walking-dead-season-8-episode-11-negan-prepares-for-next-battle.html The Verdict:
I liked this episode but not as much as I thought. It had good moments with Dwight, Tara, Rosita, and Daryl, Daryl telling the Carl news, and Carson and Gabriel story line. This season is supposed to be all out war but it was not shown yet in the second half of the season, but hopefully the next episode has a lot of it because the preview looks SO good. I give it a 7/10. Will Dwight die at the end of Season 8 after the war is over by the Survivors or Negan? How will Dwight tell the Survivors about Negan's plan before it is too late? Is Tara stupid, and will she get killed by her dumb actions? Is Eugene really making bullets or is he helping the Survivors by making bad bullets? Will we ever see Sherry or Heath again? Will we see Negan and Simon's relationship break even more? Find out next week... By: Peter Alves The episode starts off with Rick and Machonne looking at Carl's grave, still grieving, and packing up to go. They saw a wooden structure that was on fire that reminded them of Carl because he used to sit on the roof, so they tried to get rid of the fire, but failed because there was too many zombies so they left to the Hebsters. Before they arrived, Simon and Negan had a discussion what to do with them. They received a "gift" from Maggie of the person she killed in episode 8 in the coffin. Negan told Simon to get all of the Hebsters guns and to kill one person so they can "fall in line." Simon went to the dump and saw them and collected their guns but killed everyone but their leader, Jadis. When Rick and Machonne arrived they were greeted with zombies of all of the Hebsters and saw Jadis grieving but did not let her go with them. Rick shot over her head, like he did with Seddiq, but he didn't honor Carl's wishes of saving people that are still good. Edin and Aaron were held captive at Ocean Side for killing he grandmother, Beatrice, but they were let go. Aaron convinced Edin to go back to the car and tell Maggie not to attack Oceanside while Aaron tries to convince them to fight with the Survivors. Rick and Machonne were going to Hilltop but had to stop because he wanted to talk to Negan because Carl wrote a death letter to Negan. They had the best dialogue of the season. Negan felt sympathietic to Rick of Carl's death but blames Rick for the death, because Negan did not let him "save them." He failed as a leader and a father. Rick still has the mentality of killing Negan but Carl did not want that. What will Rick do with Negan? How will Negan react when he finds out that Simon killed all of the Hebsters? Will the rest of the group survive the swamp that Dwight has them go through to go to the Hilltop? What is Father Gabriel doing? Find out next week... Author: Nathan Gagne This afternoon, ex-Barstool Sports employee and mediocre actor, Michael Rapaport challenged Barstool Sports president Dave Portnoy to a fight at Rough N' Rowdy, the amateur boxing organization backed by Barstool. The challenge from Rapaport comes just 12 days after getting fired from Barstool Sports and 13 days after sending out a tweet bashing the Barstool fans saying, "if you call yourself a fucking stoolie for real, you've already lost in life." After secretly aggravating Barstool employees, putting out race-baiting content, and not mentioning Barstool Sports in media appearances, the tweet was the last straw in the Barstool-Rapaport marriage. Portnoy accepted the challenge under the condition that they each put up $250,000, which isn't as easy as it sounds with Rapaport's history of not following through on bets. You can view the challenge and response videos below: Rapaherp: twitter.com/MichaelRapaport/status/969678467875848192 Pres: twitter.com/stoolpresidente/status/969689271895576576 The reaction of Portnoy and Stoolies when hearing that Rapaherp wants to fight: As a hardcore Stoolie, who lives and dies by the stool, I need this fight to happen. Even though Pres isn't in the most ideal fighting shape, considering his shoulders would pop out on every punch attempt, I am a firm believer that the power of the company and need to defend the company would give him the advantage at the end of the day. The man who delivered papers back in the day and built Barstool Sports brick-by-brick isn't going to lose to a Hollywood herpes hack who's only skill is to call white people by the derogatory term "cracker." Pres will beat the milk out of him and punch the scabs right off of his face. The employees at Barstool aren't always on the same page, but when it comes to this pasty milk-colored dickhead, everybody is on the same team, and that is Team Barstool. A large handful of employees even contributed to a Rapaherp diss track (link located below). The Rapa-pack can come out in full force, but they will not match the army of Stoolies ready to defend the wall. Not only did Rapaherp bash Stoolies and Pres, but he also crossed the line when trying to bash Barstool employee KFC. KFC was caught cheating on his pregnant wife earlier in the year, so he deserves all the backlash against him, but Rapaherp went directly after KFC's wife, instead of KFC himself. It was a low blow, but Pres has the opportunity to get pay back for the entire company at Rough N' Rowdy.
DISS TRACK: bars.tl/4XxHMQiiRK For those of you that don't know, Rough N' Rowdy is one of the most electrifying and hilarious events that has ever reached the internet. Rough N' Rowdy consists of amateur and hillbilly boxers who don't have a lick of boxing skill, and as a result just swing for the fences for three one-minute rounds. There is usually the occasional fight with Barstool personalities that serves as the main event of the particular card. In addition to the entertaining fights, is the comical insight of the announce team consisting of Pres and Big Cat at the minimum. There is no doubt that Rough N' Rowdy is worth the $9.99 to buy before the day of the fight. I highly recommend everyone to buy the next event on April 13th. A mogul and a man with herpes colliding over personal issues at Rough N' Rowdy would be a dream match. Make it happen, generate 100K PPV buys, bury Rapaherp, and bring us one step closer to the moon. |
